THE AUTOMOTIVE LEADERSHIP ROUNDTABLE & AWARDS
Industry leaders gather to recognize and learn from the #1 dealers in each franchise during the Automotive Leadership Roundtable & Awards Dinner at the Versace Mansion in South Beach.
The Automotive Leadership Roundtable (ALR) gathers the industry's top selling dealers in each brand and thought leaders to share best practices in the most exclusive settings with performances from Tony Bennett, Elton John, Aretha Franklin and other Grammy-winning artists during a 6-star dinner. On March 19th and 20th, the country's top selling dealers in each franchise and other notable leaders are heading to Miami for the annual Automotive Leadership Roundtable & Awards Dinner at the world-famous Versace Mansion on South Beach. The 24-hour, high-impact event is By Invitation Only, although this year the Roundtable is providing a small amount of invitations to dealers interested in attending who are not the #1 selling retailers in their brand. Invited dealers will enjoy music from Grammy-award winning artists and will learn from the head of Facebook Auto, the president of Univision (the largest Spanish media company in the US), the Chairman of NADA, Grant Cardone, and of course, the #1 dealers in each franchise.

Upon arriving to Miami on Monday the 19th, attendees will join industry leaders and the world's top tennis players for a Dinner Concert featuring performances by Tony Bennett and other Grammy-winning artists at Miami's most prestigious landmark, the Vizcaya Museum & Gardens, overlooking the bay. On March 20th, attendees will gather for the Roundtable session at the infamous Eden Roc Renaissance Hotel, where they will exchange best practices and proven strategies for growing their businesses. With a history of recruiting the most esteemed of speakers, this coming Roundtable will include presentations from Doug Frisbie of Facebook; Cesar Conde, President of Univision; Bill Underriner, incoming chairman of NADA; the Bryan Brothers, the #1 tennis team now and in history; and all the #1 selling dealers from each brand who attend. Previous speakers included the #1 Chevy dealer; #1 Acura dealer; #1 Lexus Dealer; #1 Buick dealer; #1 Honda dealer; #1 Audi dealer; #1 Lamborghini dealer; the #1 Certified Pre-Owned dealer in the country; Chip Perry of Autotrader; Dale Pollak of vAuto; Stephan Croix of Sony Ericsson (the leading mobile provider in Latin America); Bill Holiber, President & CEO of the New York Daily News; Eduardo Verastegui, actor and film producer; and the Bryan Brothers, the #1 tennis team in history.

After the Roundtable, dealers will attend the 6-star ALR Awards Dinner at the renowned Versace Mansion to recognize and celebrate the accomplishments of the top selling dealers in each brand. The dinner begins with a champagne reception, and will be followed by an al fresco dinner alongside the Mansion's illustrious 10,000 Mosaic pool. Featuring one of Miami's most famous Cuban bands, fine cigars that are hand-rolled on sight by an authentic Cuban cigar roller, and a celebratory toast with Louis XIII cognac, the Awards Dinner is the “the Oscars of the automotive industry,” according to Grant Cardone, one of the Roundtable's featured speakers.

There are two major ALR events, the fall and spring series, the latter including the annual Awards Dinner. Last September at the fall series, ALR attendees joined Tony Bennett for his 85th Birthday Dinner Concert in New York City. Bennett and his closest friends came together at the Lincoln Center for an intimate dinner concert that featured the voices of some of the world's most talented artists, including Elton John, Aretha Franklin, and Alejandro Sanz. The concert was chaired by President Bill Clinton, and hosted by Alec Baldwin.

Some of the ALR guests who enjoyed Bennett's birthday dinner concert included Bill Underriner, the incoming chairman of NADA, Mr. Yoshimi Inaba, President of Toyota, the #1 dealers from many of the top brands, and celebrities such as Robert De Niro, Regis Philbin, Whoopi Goldberg, Richard Gere, Katie Couric and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. The Roundtable was hosted the next day at the penthouse ballroom of the Le Parker Meridien Hotel. With the Manhattan skyline and Central Park as the backdrop, the industry's top leaders gathered to exchange best practices.

The roster of speakers included Keith Watts of Facebook; Jim Dunn, JM Lexus (#1 Lexus dealership); Jack Jackintelle, President & COO of Rick Case Automotive; Bill Holiber, President & CEO of the New York Daily News; Joni Flynn of American Honda Company; Brett David, CEO of Prestige Imports (#1 Audi dealership); and Hagen Durant of Classic Chevrolet (#1 Chevrolet dealership). The Roundtable ended with a tour of Paragon Honda in Woodside, New York, where Brian Benstock gave a tour of the facilities, sharing how the dealership grew to be the #1 Honda, Acura & Certified Pre-Owned dealer in the world in just 9 months.

Now, attendees and speakers are reuniting with each other and Tony Bennett in Miami on March 19th & 20th in the upcoming ALR event this March. Once all RSVPs are collected from invited guests, a limited number of tickets may be available on a first come, first serve basis.
